About me
Hey guys welcome to my page!
So here’s a little background about me, myself and I! My nearest and dearest know that I have always been a creative individual, be it in my art lessons trying to put colours and combinations together and created pieces which were unique and different in its own right. Of course this only enhanced my creativity flair and directed me to pursue a career in to the hair and makeup industry.
So after I gained my A-levels, I headed off in to the search of my ambition and enrolled on to a hairdressing course and qualified after 2 years of studying hairdressing. I enjoyed it so much it was like I was let loose to do what I like! Making people feel beautiful and at their best became my motto. At that point I knew I was in the right industry...but was this the end?
Of course not! I ended up going to university and studied FdA Salon Business Management at University College Birmingham to learn the tricks of the trade with lecturers who have been in the industry for a very long time. This course packed and equipped me with the industry knowledge that was very valuable and was applicable to any business as a matter of fact. I then did a top-up degree from University of Birmingham and I crossed that stage with my head held up with a with a 1st class degree in Business enterprise. So after my degree completion, I took a couple of weeks out to try and figure out what I wanted to after which was the big question. During the final year my interest in Bridal hair and makeup artistry grew from strength to strength so I decided to go ahead and invest in to a hair and makeup course and lucky for me I found an amazing training academy which was also Birmingham based.
So the course commenced I gathered life time skills and learnt how to create looks that I had only ever seen on the run way! Like seriously I was so mesmerised! But then I went and of course put my amazing and a very very versatile kit together. I searched high and low for the best products and tools from premium brands I have read and researched about all my products right down to the eyeliner! Only to make sure you guys have the best premium cosmetics glowing away on your face. Just for those eager beavers wanting to know what I use, it ranges from MAC to Elizabeth Arden to NYX cosmetics to Benefit and YSL…and the list goes on. So here we are nearly one year on since I ventured out on my own after graduating and I've never felt so determined and motivated not to mention excited to go out and unleash my creative side in the form of a makeup artist. I aim to bring you the best looks which are refreshing to one’s eye. Seeing your reflection and putting a smile on your face is the motto of my work ethic and principle.
